Arthur Unruh was the son of M'artin  
Arthur Unruh was the son of M'artin and Susannah Unruh and was born in the Russian Crimea. As a boy of six he came to  Canada with his parents. He was married to  Mathilda Ratzlaff in Saskatchewan in  1943 and moved to British Columbia immediat~ly  there~ after.

He was a  devoted Christian who had accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour and the way of eternal peace. Together with his wife, he belonged to the North Surrey Baptist Church.
