In 1950 his wife went to be with the Lord. In 1951 he married Greta Voth, a widow with four children, and together they settled near the Kennedy Heights Church. The Lord granted them 17 years together during which they experienced both valleys and heights. He passed away October 10 after a lengthy illness.

PETER K. NEUFELD

Peter K. Neufeld of Kennedy Heights, B.C., was born in Alexanderfeld, Russia, on May 17, 1890. He spent his childhood there and received a limited amount of formal education there also. In 1904, at the age of 14, he migrated to Canada along with his parents and family. They settled in southern Saskatchewan near Kelstern.

He received Christ as his Saviour early in life and at the age of 16, in 1906, he was baptized and received into the church. He served the church in various capacities, enjoying especially the work of leading the chair.
