John J. Buller of Clearbrook, B.C. was born on September 5, 1883, in Marion, South Dakota. At the age of 21 he was converted and received into the fellowship of the Silver Lake MB Church. On November 29, 1906, he married Mary Adrian. The Lord blessed this union with eight children, two of whom predeceased him.

In 1910 the family moved to Canada  
In 1910 the family moved to Canada and homesteaded south of Ernfold, Sask., joining the Flowing Well Church. On October 15, 1936, his wife preceded him to Glory. The Lord comforted him with a second wife, Helena  Driedger, whom he married in 1939. With this marriage he also received three sons and one daughter. The daughter has preceded him in death. In 1946 he moved to Clearbrook, B.C., where he passed away on June  25,  having attained the age of 85 years.
