Elizabeth Remple-Klassen was born in Alexanderstadt, South Russia, on March 11, 1895. She spent her youth in Osterwick, South Russia. As a young girl she was baptized upon confession of faith, and received into the Mennonite Brethren Church on June 25, 1912. In 1913 she came with her parents to Herbert, Sask., where they settled on a farm. In 1915, the family moved to Kelstern, where she spent the rest of her life.

ELIZABETH KLASSEN

Funeral services for the late (Mrs.) Elizabeth Klassen were held in the Elim Church of Kelstern, Saskatchewan, on June 13. Rev. J. J. Thiessen officiated.

Elizabeth Remple-Klassen was born in Alexanderstadt, South Russia, on March 11, 1895. She spent her youth in Osterwick, South Russia. As a young girl she was baptized upon confession of faith, and received into the Mennonite Brethren Church on June 25, 1912. In 1913 she came with her parents to Herbert, Sask., where they settled on a farm. In 1915, the family moved to Kelstern, where she spent the rest of her life.

On January 1, 1917, she was united in marriage with Isaac A. Klassen. The Lord blessed this union with 12 children; one son predeceased her. On June 5 she was taken to the Herbert hospital where she passed to be with the Lord five days later.
