● Funeral services for Alfred Regier, 84, of Whitewater, were held April 22 at Emmaus Mennonite Church, rural Whitewater, with Rodney Crowell officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. He died April 20 at Wheat State Manor Nursing Home, Whitewater. He was a farmer and stockman. Survivors include his wife, Ione M. (Ayers); one son, Fremont of North Newton; one daughter, Louvina M. Miller of rural Whitewater; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. One child, Denice, preceded him in death. | |||
