Lived on Same Farm Sixty-four Years

Berne, Ind. — Leonard F. Sprunger, 68, died suddenly Dec. 2 at the farm home south of Berne where he had lived since 1886. He had not been ill and passed away without warning as he and Mrs. Sprunger sat at the table after finishing the evening meal.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the First Mennonite church here, Rev. Olin A. Krehbiel officiating.

Mr. Sprunger was a life-long resident of this community, and was known as an excellent farmer. Surviving in addition to his wife, the former Ellen Lehman, are five children, three grand children and a number of brothers and sisters. A sister, Mrs. P. J. Boehr, is serving on the Chinaa mission field.
