Many Attend Funeral Of Illinois Man
Arthur, Ill.— Relatives and friends from Indiana and Iowa were called here due to the passing of George J. Marner, 57, widely known resident of the community who died suddenly of a heart attack on July 7. Funeral services held on Monday, July 10, were largely attended.
Bro. Marner formerly operated a canning factory and sorghum mill here for a number of years. In later years he operated a ditching business and laid tile on a number of farms in this area.
He leaves his wife, two daughters, a married son, John, of the home, two grandsons, and many relatives.
