Mrs. Alma Schmidt, 59, passed away August 5. She was a resident of 2539 South Clearbrook Road, Clearbrook, B.C. She was born in Saskatchewan in 1908 and lived for 20 years in the Abbotsford district. The funeral was August 10 in the Clearbrook Mennonite Brethren Church with Rev. H. G. Thielman and Rev. Gustav Ratzlaff ministering. She is survived by her husband, Abraham; a son Irvin and his wife of Vancouver; a daughter Delores of Kansas; as well as a stepmother, four grandchildren and five sisters.
