Charles Boehr, son of Missionary P. J. Boehrs of China, was fatally injured in an automobile accident at Elkhart, Indiana Tuesday night, according to word received here in a telephone call by his sister, Anna Lou Boehr, a student nurse at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital. | |||
Mr. Boehr, his wife and their one-year-old son Charles Gregory lived at Goshen, Ind. He was, however, employed at Elkhart and was also attending Grace Theological Seminary at Winona Lake. Full details of the tragedy have not been learned, although it is known that Mr. Boehr was driving alone at the time of the accident. | |||
Mrs. Boehr is a daughter of Rev. and Mrs. J. R. Barkman of Henderson, Nebr. His parents, Rev. and Mrs. P. J. Boehr, were scheduled to board ship at Hong Kong for the trip home sometime this week. | |||

Son Of Missionaries Killed In Accident
CHARLES BOEHR FATALLY INJURED AT ELKHART, IND. TUESDAY NIGHT
Charles Boehr, son of Missionary P. J. Boehrs of China, was fatally injured in an automobile accident at Elkhart, Indiana Tuesday night, according to word received here in a telephone call by his sister, Anna Lou Boehr, a student nurse at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital.
Mr. Boehr, his wife and their one-year-old son Charles Gregory lived at Goshen, Ind. He was, however, employed at Elkhart and was also attending Grace Theological Seminary at Winona Lake.
