— Valentine Farney, 83, a farmer in the Sterling, Kansas community most of his life, died at his farm home there on June 29, and fuenral services were held at the Sterling Mennonite church on Saturday. He leaves his wife, five daughters, four sons, and number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
