Hillsboro, Kansas. — Adolph Plenert, 56, who farmed for many years northeast of here, died at his home in Hillsboro on Sunday evening, March 11, about 12 hours after suffering a stroke of paralysis. He had not been able to do any physical labor for about a year due to ill health.

Funeral services were held on Friday at the Johannestal church near here, where he was a member.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter and five sons, two of whom are in Korea, as well as three sisters and six brothers.

Retired Farmer Died of Stroke

Hillsboro, Kansas. — Adolph Plenert, 56, who farmed for many years northeast of here, died at his home in Hillsboro on Sunday evening, March 11, about 12 hours after suffering a stroke of paralysis. He had not been able to do any physical labor for about a year due to ill health. Funeral services were held on Friday at the Johannestal church near here, where he was a member. He is survived by his wife, one daughter and five sons, two of whom are in Korea, as well as three sisters and six brothers.
