— Word was received here last week of the passing of John J. Kizler, 89, in a hospital at Oklahoma City on Aug. 5. He had lived in Newton for several years with his daughter, Mrs. A. G. Isaac and at the time of his death was visiting another daughter, Mrs. F. H. Schmidt in Oklahoma City. He was well-known in the Hillsboro community, having served as postmaster there at one time, as cashier of the Hillsboro State Bank, and for a time as editor of the Hillsboro Journal. | |||
