Hutchinson, Kansas. &#8212; Word was received by relatives here that the body of Abe H. Goertzen, farmer residing northwest of Haven, had been recovered form the Neosho river near Iola on Monday, August 11.

The coroner there said that death was apparently due to drowning, and it was believed that Mr. Goertzen had stopped at the river for a swim while on a trip through Iola. An ambulance was sent from Buhler to return the body.

The deceased, who was not married, is survived by three brothers:s H. J. Goertzen of Hutchinson, J. H. Goertzen of Johnson, Dr. J. J. Goertzen of Inman, Mrs. Anna Franzen of Liberal, Mrs. Justine Plett of Turpin, Okla., and Mrs. Marie Pauls, Reedley, Calif.

RECOVER BODY OF KANSAS FARMER FROM RIVER NEAR IOLA, KANSAS

Hutchinson, Kansas. — Word was received by relatives here that the body of Abe H. Goertzen, farmer residing northwest of Haven, had been recovered form the Neosho river near Iola on Monday, August 11.

The coroner there said that death was apparently due to drowning, and it was believed that Mr. Goertzen had stopped at the river for a swim while on a trip through Iola. An ambulance was sent from Buhler to return the body.

The deceased, who was not married, is survived by three brothers:s H. J. Goertzen of Hutchinson, J. H. Goertzen of Johnson, Dr. J. J. Goertzen of Inman, Mrs. Anna Franzen of Liberal, Mrs. Justine Plett of Turpin, Okla., and Mrs. Marie Pauls, Reedley, Calif.
