NIGHT-TIME HIGHWAY ACCIDENT TAKES A LIFE AT MORDEN, MAN.
Morden, Man. — Walking on the highway, homeward bound, at 11:30 p.m., Henry Doerksen, 46, was fatally injured near here when struck by a truck driven by W. P. Enns.
Mr. Enns, blinded by a passing car, was unaware that anyone was on the road ahead of him until Doerksen was under the wheels of his truck. The injured man died in the Winkler Hospital about six hours after the accident.
Rev. Isaac Hoeppner was in charge of the funeral services at the Bergthaler church, Plum coulee, held on Sunday, June 15.
