text of obituary:
FRED PETERS, son of Jacob D. Peters and Katherine Thieszen, was born January 4, 1898, in York County, Nebraska. When nine years old creeping paralysis set in and left him a cripple and finally an invalid for life. On May 20, 1918, he was baptixzed [sic] by Elder H. H. Epp and accepted as a member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church, Henderson. Since the death of his parents he lived with relatives, at the Salem Home near Hillsboro, and at a convalescent home in Beatrice, Nebraska. He was patient in the bearing of his cross.
