AGED LANCASTER COUNTY RESIDENT MEETS DEATH WHEN STRUCK BY TRAIN
Ronks, Pa. — Ben H. Fisher, 75-year-old member of the Old Order Amish church, met instant death the morning of Dec. 15 when his buggy was struck by a train at the Irishtown crossing of the Pennsylvania railroad. Funeral services were held on Dec. 17.
The buggy was on the last track of the four-track right-of-way when struck, and Mr. Fisher was thrown into the air against a concrete pillar.
He is survived by his wife, 10 children, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
