J.A. Bergmann, 80
John Abram Bergmann passed away in the Chilliwack, B.C., General Hospital on Jan 17. He was born in Alexanderthal, S. Russia, married there in 1909, and came to Elm Creek, Man., in 1925. 1931-33 were spent in Rosedale, B.C., after which the family established itself in Greendale. Many will remember Brother Bergmann as a progressive farmer and helpful neighbor. He leaves a large family to mourn his passing. Funeral services took place in the Greendale church on Jan. 19.
