<center><h3>CRUSHED UNDER CAR WHILE ON VISIT IN NEIGHBORING STATE</h3></center>
Berne, Ind. &#8212; A number of relatives from this area went to Colon, Mich. on March 20 to attend funeral services for Emanuel Miller, 38, a member of the Locust Grove church there who was killed while on a visit in the Berne community three days earlier.
Mr. Miller, a carpenter, suffered fatal injuries while repairing his car at the home of his parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob J. Amstutz, near here. The car slipped off an improvised jack and struck his chest.
He is survived by his wife, the former Anna Amstutz, and five children.

CRUSHED UNDER CAR WHILE ON VISIT IN NEIGHBORING STATE

Berne, Ind. — A number of relatives from this area went to Colon, Mich. on March 20 to attend funeral services for Emanuel Miller, 38, a member of the Locust Grove church there who was killed while on a visit in the Berne community three days earlier.
