Berne, Ind. — A number of relatives from this area went to Colon, Mich. on March 20 to attend funeral services for Emanuel Miller, 38, a member of the Locust Grove church there who was killed while on a visit in the Berne community three days earlier. | |||
Mr. Miller, a carpenter, suffered fatal injuries while repairing his car at the home of his parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob J. Amstutz, near here. The car slipped off an improvised jack and struck his chest. | |||
He is survived by his wife, the former Anna Amstutz, and five children. | |||

CRUSHED UNDER CAR WHILE ON VISIT IN NEIGHBORING STATE
Berne, Ind. — A number of relatives from this area went to Colon, Mich. on March 20 to attend funeral services for Emanuel Miller, 38, a member of the Locust Grove church there who was killed while on a visit in the Berne community three days earlier.
