DIES OF BURNS SUFFERED IN KEROSENE EXPLOSION
Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Burns suffered in the explosion of a kerosene can while attempting to start a fire in a brooder house stove proved fatal to Roman D. Yoder, 35, well known farmer and thresher of this community. The accident occurred Feb. 23, and he passed away at St. Luke’s hospital, Cleveland, on March 6.
Funeral services were held at the Yoder home on March 9, with Levi Troyer and Andrew Troyer officiating. He was a member of the Amish church and leaves his wife, two daughters, his mother, and eight brothers and sisters.
