DEATH OF ILLINOIS MAN ATTRIBUTED TO INFANTILE PARALYSIS
Hopedale, Ill. — Funeral services were conducted at the Boynton Mennonite church on Sept 1 for Wilmer Litwiller, 44, of this community. He passed away Aug. 28 at Manson, Iowa, where he had gone to visit relatives.
Death was at first attributed to heart trouble, but later tests showed he had contracted bulbar poliomyelitis.
