— Funeral services were held at the Eicher Emmanuel church near Noble, Iowa on July 7 for Daniel Nebel, well-known resident of the community who had served as a star route mail carrier for over 11 years. He complained of feeling ill at several towns on his route and at the end of the route at Ainsworth, fell unconscious from the truck with a cerebral hemorrhage. He passed away at the home of his son, Billy, in Washington on June 5. | |||
