— A well-known resident of the Hesston community, C. M. Hostetler, 78, passed away at the Bethel Deaconess hospital here on June 22, and funeral services were held at the Hesston college chapel on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Hostetler was born near Goshen, Ind. on Aug 10, 1870, and came to Kansas in 1884. He lived for a time in the West Liberty community near McPherson and then moved to a farm near Hesston. He leaves his wife, Mable, four children, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one brother, Dr. F. H. Hostetler of Nampa, Idaho.
