<center><h3>MRS. GUST MILLER</h3></center>
 
Mrs. Gust Miller, well known and highly respected resident of Butterfield Minn., passed away at the sanatorium at Worthington Monday, Sept. 6 at 4:30 a.m. She had been in failing health for some time, and had been confined for the past seven months. At the time of death she was 65 years two months and 17 days of age.
 
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept 9, at 1:30 from the Johnson funeral home in Mt. Lake and at 2:00 from the Mennonite church of Butterfield, with Rev. Paul Tschetter in charge of the last rites. Interment was made in the Mennonite cemetery.
 
Pallbearers were E. O. Ewy, Ted Linscheid, Robert Linscheid, Waldo Linscheid, Jacob Miller and Robert Miller.
 
Kate Rupp was born at Mankato on June 19, 1883. At the age of five the family moved to a farm south of Butterfield, where she grew to young womanhood.
 
On October 1, 1905, she was united in marriage to Gust Miller of Butterfield, and she has made her home here ever since. To this union three sons were born, Harry, Oliver and Winfred, all of whom besides the husband survive.
 
She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers as follows: Mrs. Arnold Kintzi, Mrs. Rudolph Linscheid, Mrs. Herbert Linscheid and Ed Rupp of Butterfield and John Rupp of Winton, California.
 
At the age of 13, in May 1896, she was baptized in the Mennonite church and ever since has been a staunch member of the local congregation. She was an ardent and willing worker in all branches of church work, especially the ladies aid and foreign missions, and will be sadly missed by her numerous friends and relatives in the community.
