Funeral services for John F. Goertz, 71, of rural Hillsboro were held Tuesday afternoon at the Johannestal Church near Hillsboro, with Rev. Henry Goossen, the pastor, officiating. Mr. Goertz suffered a stroke on March 2, and seemingly was showing improvement before his death last Friday at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro. He is survived by his widow, Adelia; two daughters, Mrs. Milton (Elda) Penner of rural Hillsboro and Mrs. Harold (Louise) Bartel of North Newton; one son, Linferd of Route 1, Ferndale, Wash.; 11 grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. | |||

Funeral services for John F. Goertz, 71, of rural Hillsboro were held Tuesday afternoon at the Johannestal Church near Hillsboro, with Rev. Henry Goossen, the pastor, officiating.
