JOSEPH RAMSEYER

Joseph Ramseyer passed away at his residence at Pratum, Oregon, on Dec. 16, 1947, at the age of 84. He was born in France in 1862, and was married to Anna Rich in 1890.

He leaves to mourn him his beloved wife, Anna, and four sons, Benjamin, David C., and Albert P., all of Salem, and Carl A. of Seattle, Wash. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 18, at 1:30 oclock [sic] at the W. Regston Chapel. Rev. Wilbert A. Regier read I Cor. 10, Rom. 8:18, and 2 Cor. 3:7. Rev. J. M. Franz spoke on Psalm 23. There was a duet, “God’s Way is the Best Way,” and a quartet, “Jesus Lover of My Soul.” He was then taken to his final resting place at Lee Mission cemetery.
