Schmidt in charge. Clarence met with a serious accident Monday, May 21, when the horse he was riding, reared up, lost its balance and fell directly on the young lad. Clarence received severe internal injuries from the horse's weight. He died in the Bethesda Hospital at Goessel on Wednesday morning, May 23, at the age of 14 years. He leaves to mourn his early departure his parents, two brothers, John and Walter, who are overseas; two sisters, Mrs. Edwin Janzen, route 3, and Mrs. Adolf Janzen, 313 South Pine, Newton.
