The deceased was well known also in Mennonite circles, having frequently visited many churches in the interest of the Bible Society.  In addition to his deputation work, Rev. Ramseyer was active in Gospel distribution among the Great Lakes fisherman.

DEATH OF BIBLE SOCIETY FOUNDER

Duluth, Minn. — Rev. H. E. Ramseyer, widely known founder of the Northern Bible Society, passed away here recently after a short illness.

The deceased was well known also in Mennonite circles, having frequently visited many churches in the interest of the Bible Society. In addition to his deputation work, Rev. Ramseyer was active in Gospel distribution among the Great Lakes fisherman.
