Newton friends received the sad news that David Unruh of Buhler was killed by a train there early this week. Mr. Unruh, who was well over 70 years of age, farmed in the Buhler community most of his life but had lived in retirement for about four or five years. | |||
Being hard of hearing, it is thought he was evidently unaware of the approaching train as he crossed the Frisco tracks in town. His home was in the northern part near the Mennonite Brethren church, of which he was a member. | |||

KILLED BY TRAIN IN BUHLER
Newton friends received the sad news that David Unruh of Buhler was killed by a train there early this week. Mr. Unruh, who was well over 70 years of age, farmed in the Buhler community most of his life but had lived in retirement for about four or five years.
