DEATH TAKES AMISH FARMER,

Monroe, Ind. — Death came unexpectedly to Christ J. Schwartz, 62, well known Amish farmer of this vicinity Sunday afternoon, Dec. 17. Heart attack was the cause of his sudden departure.

Mr. Schwartz had attended Amish church services at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Graber, in the forenoon but was taken to his home in the afternoon when he began feeling seriously ill. Fourteen children survive.
