+ | — In the river near New Hamburg, Ont., Eldon Wagler, 28 lost his life through drowning on Thursday evening, June 28. Mr. Wagler, on the way to see a brother, stopped off at the river to go swimming together with a hired man. After an hour's searching the body was brought to the surface through the help fo John Dick, Rodney Klassen and Barney Reid. Funeral services were held in the Amish church. |
