+ | Dallas, Oregon. — This community was deeply saddened recently when Vernon Teichroew, eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Corn. Teichroew, was fatally shot with a rifle. The lad and a neighbor boy were playing with the rifle, which they though was not loaded, when it discharged and the bulled passed through Vernon's body. He passed away before a doctor could be reached. |

EIGHT YEAR OLD LAD KILLED AS RIFLE IS ACCIDENTALLY DISCHARGED
Dallas, Oregon. — This community was deeply saddened recently when Vernon Teichroew, eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Corn. Teichroew, was fatally shot with a rifle. The lad and a neighbor boy were playing with the rifle, which they though was not loaded, when it discharged and the bulled passed through Vernon's body. He passed away before a doctor could be reached.
Funeral services were held in the local Mission Chapel.
