C. W. KLIEWER OF TAFT, CALIF., KILLED IN OIL FIELD ACCIDENT
Fresno, Calif. — C. W. Kliewer, 59, an oil guager [sic] in the fields near Taft, was killed instantly there in an accident on May 31.
A truck which he and a fellow workman had parked on a hill unexpectedly rolled down, striking Mr. Kliewer in such a way that he was crushed between the truck and an oil derrick.
He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
