&#9679; Funeral services for Jacob B. Loewen, 82, a resident here for nearly 50 years, were held Monday afternoon at the First Mennonite church.  Rev. Melvin Schmidt officiated.  Mr. Loewen died Aug. 13 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital.  A native of the Lehigh community, he had worked for lumber companies here and in later years did custodian work.  Surviving with his widow, the former Mary Reimer, is a large family group including six daughters and two sons and their families.
