— Friends and relatives of Alvin Kempp, 42, of Detroit, Mich, and formerly of Topeka, Ind., were shocked to hear of his death in an airplane crash near St. Louis, Mo., on Sunday, Jan. 5. Funeral services were held at the Topeka Mennonite church Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 8. The services were in charge of Rev. Earl Salzman and Rev. L. J. Beaver.
