&#8212; One of Newton's well known doctors, Dr. R. S. Hertzler, died suddenly from heart attack last Thursday afternoon. Walking along on Main street, he became seriously ill and was rushed to the Bethel Hospital in an ambulance, where he died soon afterward. The funeral services at the Methodist church on Saturday afternoon were attended by many people. Building operations at the new addition to Bethel Hospital were suspended during the time of the funeral.

— One of Newton's well known doctors, Dr. R. S. Hertzler, died suddenly from heart attack last Thursday afternoon. Walking along on Main street, he became seriously ill and was rushed to the Bethel Hospital in an ambulance, where he died soon afterward. The funeral services at the Methodist church on Saturday afternoon were attended by many people. Building operations at the new addition to Bethel Hospital were suspended during the time of the funeral.
