Coming to Kansas from Russia in her youth, she had a definite part in the pioneer's efforts of founding the large Freeman-Marion settlement. Cancer was the cause of her death.

— Mrs. Freni Graber, a member of the Salem-Zion congregation at Freeman, S. D., passed to her eternal reward on August 1, at the age of 77 years. Coming to Kansas from Russia in her youth, she had a definite part in the pioneer's efforts of founding the large Freeman-Marion settlement. Cancer was the cause of her death.
