Medford, Okla., July 18. Willie Schmdit, 18, living nine miles northwest of Medford, was instantly killed at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon when struck by lightning. The flash set fire to the bundle wagon which he was driving, but the team broke loose from the load and escaped uninjured. The youth was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Schmidt.

Medford, Okla., July 18. Willie Schmidt, 18, living nine miles northwest of Medford, was instantly killed at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon when struck by lightning. The flash set fire to the bundle wagon which he was driving, but the team broke loose from the load and escaped uninjured. The youth was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Schmidt.
