Joseph H. Jantz, son of Henry B. and Elizabeth Jantz, was born Jan. 6, 1884, at mcPherson, Kansas. He departed from this life Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1937, at the age of 53 years, 9 months and 13 days.
He moved from Kansas to Oklahoma in 1891 and has been a resident of Goltry for the last 20 years, during which time he was a prominent business man.
He joined teh Zoar Mennonite church of goltry in 1905, to which he was aithful until death.
