Blast in Ice Cream Plant Fatal to Two Sisters.
Mechanicsburg, Pa. — Two children, badly burned in an explosion of an ammonia tank at a local ice cream plant, died in a hospital.
the little victims, sisters, were Grace Moyer, 12, and Catherine Moyer, 4, both of Mechanicsburg. They had gone to the R. E. Rakestraw plant to make a purchase when the blast which was followed by fire and strangling ammonia fumes, occurred. Charles Simmons, also of Mechanicsburg, who was also injured seriously, remained in critical condition in a hospital. — Exch.
