Mr. Schmidt had spent the past few years with his children, the Neal and Tobe Schmidt families. His wife died about three years ago. |

Funeral services are being held this afternoon at the Emmanuel church north of Moundridge, conducted by Rev. J. J. Ratzlaff of Newton.
