Funeral services are being held this afternoon at the Emmanuel church north of Moundridge, conducted by Rev. J. J. Ratzlaff of Newton. Mr. Schmidt had spent the past few years with his children, the Neal and Tobe Schmidt families. His wife died about three years ago. |

— Andrew T. Schmidt, 890 years old settler of the McPherson neighborhood, died there at the home of his son, Neal Schmidt, last Sunday morning. Funeral services are being held this afternoon at the Emmanuel church north of Moundridge, conducted by Rev. J. J. Ratzlaff of Newton. Mr. Schmidt had spent the past few years with his children, the Neal and Tobe Schmidt families. His wife died about three years ago.
