Marlin Wedel

Marlin Eugene Wedel son of Mr. and Mrs. Orlon Wedel of Galva, Kansas, was born on Dec. 20, 1932, and died on Feb 2, 1936. He reached the age of three years, one month and 11 days.

He became sick on Monday night, Jan. 27, his sickness being diagnosed as flu which later developed into pneumonia and finally into scarlet fever. This brought a quick end of his precious young life.

He leaves to mourn his early departure his parents, one sister, Dorothy Jane, about five years old; his grandparents from both sides, and a number of uncles and aunts and a host of other relatives, who realize that he is now with the Lord.

Funeral services were held at the cemetery of the Emmanuel church, where the little body was laid to rest. Rev. J. J. Ratzlaff officiated and a double quartet sang two hymns.
