Mrs. Penner was at the Sprinker Mortuary until the hour of the fuenral which was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home in Pleasant township and 2:30 at the Gnadenberg Mennonite church, nine miles east of Newton. Interment took place in the Gnadenberg cemtery beside the husband who passed away December, 1926. The Rev. G. N. Harms conducted the funeral services. &#8212; Kansan.

Mrs. Helen Penner

Mrs. Helen Penner, 78, passed away at her home in Pleasant township Monday, July 2, at 10:30 P. M. following a four days' illness of pneumonia.

She is survived by five children: Isaac Penner, Pleasant township; Abe Penner, of northeast of Newton; Mrs. L. O. Harms and Mrs. J. B. Schmidt, Pleasant township; and Jacob Schmidt, Clinton, Okla.
