— Rev. John Esau, for many years elder of the Zoar Mennonite church at Inman, Kansas, passed away at his home on March 31. Funeral services were also held at this church where he labored so many years. Ministers who participated in this service were: Rev. D. C. Pauls, Rev. P. R. Lange, Rev. Cor. Thiessen, and Rev. Abr. G. Ensz.

— After an illness lasting for a number of years, John Esau of Walton passed away at the Bethel hospital early last Friday evening. Mr. Esau had spent the greater part of his later life as a farmer near Walton. Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church here on Monday morning, Rev. J. E. Entz officiating.
