Bennie Daniel Fast was born May 26, 1923, at Medford, Okla., and died April 12th, 1930 at Reedley, Calif., at the age of six years, 10 months, and 17 days. On March 19 he came home from school complaining about headache. We consulted a doctor, and learned that he was suffering from meningitis of the brain cause by the whooping cough. We also consulted a specialist who operated on him but they gave little hope for his recover. Upon the doctor's request we took him to the Dinuba hospital. Everything possible was done to save his life, but the Lord's ways are not our ways, so he took Bennie where there is no more sorrow nor pain. He was sick three weeks. His suffering was severe the last three days.
