Long-Time Pastor, Conference Worker Dies in California
Reedley, Calilf.—Olin Krehbiel, long-time pastor and conference leader in the General Conference Mennonite Church, died Nov. 5 at Fresno following a heart attack. He was 77.
Krehbiel received his education at Bethel College, North Newton, Kan.; Bible Institute of Los Angeles (Calif.); and Winona Lake (Ind.) School of Theology.
A native of Newton, Kan., he served as pastor of the Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church, Wichita, Kan. (1934-36); Grace Mennonite Church, Lansdale, Pa. (1937-45); First Mennonite Church, Berne, Ind. (1945-47); Salem-Zion Mennonite Church, Freeman, S. D. (1957-66); and Grace Mennonite Church, Dallas, Ore. (1966-70).
