Memorial services for Rudolph A. Klassen, 83, of Goessel, were held Dec. 4 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, rural Goessel. Dennis Schmidt and Aaron Epp officiated. A graveside service was held Dec. 2 at Alexanderwohl Cemetery. A resident of Goessel since 1973, he had lived in Lebanon, Kan., earlier. A native of Marion county, he was a farmer, teacher and printer.. Survivors include his wife, Selma (Strausz); two sons, Donald R. of Harrisburg, S. D., and James R., of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two daughters, Vernell Fae Miller of Hanston and Cynthia Mae Goerzen of rural Newton; one brother, Otto of rural Hillsboro; and five grandchildren.
