&#9679; Waldo V. Harms, 84, of the Whitewater area, died Nov. 15 at Newton medical Center. Funeral services were held Nov. 19 at Grace Hill Mennonite Church, rural Newton, with James Voth officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill church Cemetery. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include three sons, Clayton and Galen, both of Whitewater, and Orlin of Halstead; three daughters, Rita Patterson of Valley Center, Verla Vogts of Alva, Okla., and Connie Fukudome of Tokyo, Japan; one brother, Jacob of Newton; one sister, Amanda Harms of Newton; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. His wife, Hilda (Nachtigal), died in 1984. Also preceding him in death were one sister, Rachel Penner, and one grandchild.

● Waldo V. Harms, 84, of the Whitewater area, died Nov. 15 at Newton medical Center. Funeral services were held Nov. 19 at Grace Hill Mennonite Church, rural Newton, with James Voth officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill church Cemetery. He was a retired farmer.
