&#9679; Funeral services for Ferdinand Graevs, 85, of Goessel, were held Jan. 2 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church near Goessel. Milton Harder and Oliver Parish officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. A native of Medford, Okla., he died Dec. 29 at Newton Medical Center. A Goessel area resident since 1917, he was owner and operator of Modern Barber and Beauty shop, Newton, owned barbershops in North newton and Goessel and taught music lessons. Survivors include his wife, Katherine (Schroeder); one daughter, Evelyn Flaming of Topeka; and one brother, Edmond of Newton.
