Herman Boese, 57, Salem, Ore. building contractor, died Friday afternoon, Sept. 9, at a Salem hospital from injuries suffered in a fall Wednesday, Sept. 7. | |||
Mr. Boese, of 1980 Margaret St. NW, incurred a head injury when he fell from a house he was painting. | |||
He farmed in Nebraska and came to Salem in 1946. He was a trustee of Kingwood Bible Church for many years. The church is establishing a memorial fund in his memory. | |||
He was married in Nebraska to Evelyn Loewen who survives. Also surviving are sons Dale and max of Salem; daughters Sheryl Steinke of Eugene and Miss Bonnie Boese of Salem; brothers Henry of Denver, Colo., and Benjamin of Alexandria, Va.; sister Mrs. Minnie Reimer of Monmouth, ore., and two grandchildren. | |||
Services were held Sept. 13 at 2 p.m. at Kingwood Bible Church with Rev. Leonard Vogt officiating. Interment was at Belcrest Memorial Park. | |||

HERMAN BOESE
Herman Boese, 57, Salem, Ore. building contractor, died Friday afternoon, Sept. 9, at a Salem hospital from injuries suffered in a fall Wednesday, Sept. 7.
